We are heading into a new cycle of lessons and I am so excited to watch our artists think about and create great art! Here's a brief run-down of what we will be learning: All classes will be focusing on Color! Kindergarten: We will be learning about and creating color wheels. We will be making connections to the use of color in art and where we see color in the world around us. 1st and 2nd grade: We will be creating color wheels and learning weaving/textile techniques. 3rd and 4th grade: We will be reviewing the color wheel, warm and cool colors and exploring monochromatic color schemes. 5th grade: We will be studying Georgia O'Keefe's art and discussing neutral, analogous, as well as, warm and cool color schemes. FALL FESTIVAL on Friday October 16th from 5:30-8:00pm! Come check out the painterly pumpkins at the Silent Pumpkin Auction booth!!
