Spring is on the way!!!

My favorite season of the year is almost here and the Art Show will take place soon! March 24th from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Cafeteria!  I hope to see everyone there.  We are still in GREAT need of parent/adult volunteers.  Please contact Ms. Kirby if you are able to help!  All classes are now finishing up their artwork that will be put on display in the show!  We have studied and discussed, Molas made by the Kuna Indians, Tar Beach by Faith Ringgold, sand painting created by Navajo native americans, Pop Art and symbols, Australian Aboriginal artwork and Gyotaku!  Our next areas of study will be the author and illustrator Eric Carle, seahorses, and one-point perspective.  It's going to be an exciting Spring here at Lone Star!!
