Students,
The school year is winding down and over the next few weeks we are finishing up our self-portraits (grades 1-5) and butterfly projects (kindergarten). What a fantastic year it has been here at Lone Star! I have enjoyed watching each of you think about, talk about and create amazing artwork! As you all know, I will be having a baby girl early this summer (or possibly before school is out this year)! I will be taking the first few weeks of next school year off to spend time with the newest member of my family! Ms. Penney (whom most of you know and love) will be my substitute. She is so excited to do art with you and will be a fabulous art teacher while I'm gone!! All the best to each of you!!

Wow, Mrs. Kluge! To think Art class wasn't just Art class this year! We had the Art Fair, for one. Seriously, how many schools have Art Fairs?!? I also found this years projects interesting and creative (especially the one I handed in today(Monday 5/7/12)). I have to say , this has been a spectacular year in Art, and I can only imagine what will go down next year (5th grade)
